A woman accused of burglary in connection with the 2010 death of a Scott County bus driver was in court Monday.
Ciji Jefferson tearfully entered a guilty plea to complicity to commit robbery. Jefferson’s attorney said she pleaded guilty to the charges in order to put the events behind her.
Her trial was originally set to start January 21. Jefferson was charged with burglary in connection with the death of Sue Jones. Jones was found beaten to death inside her Georgetown home.

The judge accepted Jefferson’s guilty plea. Sentencing could happen as early as March 10, but her attorney said it was possible it could be postponed until after the trial of Nicholas Willinger. Police say Willinger is the person who killed Jones.
The Commonwealth had no sentencing recommendation.
