Lexington police have another scam they want to warn the public about.
It involves gift cards and someone offering prizes.
This is another telephone scam and the caller wants to steal your credit card information.
The calls come from an automated system.

The scammers said that you’ve been randomly selected to win a Walmart gift card and other promotional items.
But remember, you can only win items if you’ve registered for a contest.
Police said be smart and don’t fall for it.
