A Scott County native has been indicted by a grand jury in Abilene, Texas in connection with the death of her toddler.
Tiffany Klapheke, 22, called 9-1-1 back in august after finding her 22-month-old daughter, Tamryn, unresponsive. A preliminary autopsy showed Tamryn was severely malnourished, dehydrated and had suffered chemical burns from her own waste.

Tamryn’s two sisters, Tatum and Taberlee, suffered similar injuries and were hospitalized.
Klapheke’s husband, Thomas, was deployed in the Middle East at the time of the toddler’s death and filed for divorce after he returned.
