Authorities want to speak with the father of a 1-year-old boy after the child was reported missing from his mother’s home.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reports the child’s mother discovered her son missing from their Winter Garden home Sunday at about 4 a.m.
She contacted police who discovered a forced entry into the home.

Investigators and search dogs are at the scene and detectives are trying to contact the boy’s father, Carlos Martinez. They have not been able to contact Martinez and want to know what information he has that might help their investigation.
Winter Garden is located about 15 miles west of Orlando.
