Chicago police tonight asked for the public’s help in finding a 30-year-old man missing from his South Side home.

Tommy Williams is non-verbal, cannot communicate his name and has no ID, police said in an endangered missing person report.

He was last seen about 3:30 p.m. Thursday at his home on the 8600 block of South Exchange Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood.

Williams has gone missing before and walks far distances, being found as far as Palos Park and Oak Lawn in the past, police said. He likes McDonald’s and cartoons.

The report describes Williams as black, 5-foot-8 and 132 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. He has a scar on his forehead.

He was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie, black sweatshirt, black sweat pants and brown boots, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area South special victims unit detectives at 312-747-8276.
