She has been missing for almost a week, but a missing Madison County teen is still on a lot of minds.
Crews were on the scene Friday in Berea looking for clues into the whereabouts of Brooke Farthing, 18, conducting a ground search of an estimated 800 acres along Floyd Branch Road in Berea. Officials also attempted a search from the air, but were unable to see anything because of the terrain where the search is being conducted.

It’s the area where Farthing was last seen about a week ago. Police say they have not received a tip or anything of that nature, but that they are just trying to make sure they cover all their bases and exhaust all of their resources.
At least 75 volunteers from several agencies are involved in the search, which includes the use of K-9s.
