Tony Pelfrey received a 12-month jail sentence suspended while Patricia Pelfrey received 10 months of suspended jail time. They both also received three years of community control and were ordered to complete 75 hours of community service. After an investigation completed by the Department and the Champaign County Prosecutor’s Office, it was determined the Pelfreys submitted false information to support a loss they claimed was more than $2,400 involving their air conditioning system.
