A 41-year-old homeless man was booked into Shawnee County Jail late Friday in connection with sexual assault of a child and drug charges.
Shawn Farrell Polinskey remained in jail Saturday morning without a bond. He arrived at the jail at 10:36 p.m. Friday.

Polinskey faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child younger than 16 years old. According to jail information, the charge involves film, magazine and/or printed materials.
He also was arrested on suspicion of possessing opiates/opium/narcotic drugs and certain stimulants and using/possessing drug paraphernalia.
