Investigators say a group of friends in West Virginia crashed early Wednesday morning, killing a Rowan County High School senior and hurting 10 others.
The accident happened around 4 a.m. along Route 36 in Clay County, West Virginia. West Virginia state police say six people were in the truck’s cab and five were in the bed when it hit a guardrail and flipped, landing upside down in a creek.

Kara Conley, 17, was killed. State police believe she was in the bed when it flipped.
Investigators say a small amount of marijuana was found in the vehicle.
