A Boyle County man accused in the 2011 Thanksgiving Day death of another man has pleaded guilty in the case.
A judge has recommended a five-year sentence for Jordan White on reckless homicide and tampering with physical evidence charges in the death of Michael Begley, Jr. Begley’s mother says Gina Priest, Melissa Luna and White were together when Priest and Begley got in a fight.

Police say White began choking Begley to break it up, then White and Luna left Begley on the side of Taylor Road in Boyle County, where he died.
White will be formally sentenced September 24.
Luna was shot and killed at her home in 2012.
