Police are interviewing witnesses who were in the area when a man was shot dead outside a southern Colorado bar.
Police say the victim is in his early 20’s. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. His name has not been released pending the notification of his family.
The shooting happened at about 2:40 a.m. Sunday outside the Circa Bar on Tejon in downtown Colorado Springs.

Witnesses tell 11 News that a fight broke started outside the bar, and then they heard two shots. The witnesses say the victim stumbled out from behind some vehicles and collapsed. The suspected shooter got away in a car. Witnesses tell 11 News he fired three more shots as he drove away. Police have not confirmed that information.
