A woman was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision on U.S. 25 in London Wednesday evening.
Police say the accident happened 6 miles south of London on U.S. 25 around 6:30 p.m.
Investigators say a Ford Focus car was traveling northbound on U.S. 25 when a vehicle in front of it stopped abruptly to turn left onto Fariston Road. The Ford Focus swerved to the left to avoid a collision, police say, and hit a Chevy Cobalt head-on that was traveling the opposite direction in the southbound lanes.
