Arson Investigation Lexington House Fires

Lexington Fire Department said the fires that broke out at two homes in Lexington Monday were intentionally set.

 

The first was a home on Hollow Creek Dr. around 6:15 a.m. Monday morning. The fire department said it appears the fire started in the front of the home.

The second was on Owsley Ave. around 2 o’clock Monday afternoon. Fire officials said they believe the fire started in a bedroom and spread to the porch.

 

Fire officials said both homes were vacant at the time and there were no injuries. The two incidents are not believed to be related. Both incidents are being investigated by the Lexington Fire Department.
