Missing Person Oklahoma City Teen Still Missing

Police and family members of a missing 16-year-old girl are asking for the public’s help locating her after her car was found abandoned near Oklahoma City last week.

According to police, Anne Josette Hill was last seen on April 10 in the north Oklahoma City/Edmond area.

Relatives told KWTV that the high school sophomore is usually in touch with her family several times a day, but they have not heard from her in over a week.

Oklahoma City Police Department Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow told HLN Monday that there is no clear indication of foul play at this time but authorities are becoming increasingly worried about Hill as time goes on.

Wardlow said police are looking at all possible explanations for Hill’s disappearance.  But the fact that her car—a white 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo with black racing stripes—was later found in the Edmond area and there was no sign of her around it has raised some concern for investigators.

Wardlow said Hill’s family is adamant that something bad must have happened to her.

Family members have been posting fliers, spreading word about the case on social media and appealing to the public for help finding Hill.

“Somebody has to know something,” mother Lori Hill told KWTV. “She loves her family. She wouldn’t leave, not without saying goodbye.”

Wardlow said police are pursuing leads as they come in and are looking for any information that might lead them to the missing teen.

“We obviously are concerned for her welfare,” Wardlow said.

Anne Josette Hill is described as a white female with brown hair, brown eyes and a curvy lined tattoo on her right hip. She is 5’4”, 120 lbs. and she was last seen wearing a blue one-piece short set.

Anyone with information regarding Hill’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department Missing Person’s Unit at 405-297-1129.
