Officials say they expect to file criminal charges in the investigation of shots fired at a group of hunters that left one dead and one hurt last week in Clay County.
Officials say there was only one shot and one shooter, but have not named a suspect.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home Monday and said they found evidence near the scene where the three hunters were shot at, but did not clarify what that evidence was. Deputies and state troopers were back in the woods Thursday running sound tests in the area.
