Salida police are on the lookout for a 16-year-old boy reported missing Sunday evening by his father and stepmother.

Soren Tucker is a junior in high school and lives in Arizona with his mother.

“We’re hoping he caught a ride and headed back to Arizona,” Minnis said.

However, he has been listed as a missing person with the Colorado Crime Information Center and the National Crime Information Center.

Anyone who has seen him since Sunday evening or has any information on where he might be is asked to contact the Salida Police Department at the dispatch number, 539-2596.

Soren Tucker was last seen near Sackett Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday. He was wearing tan Levi pants and a tan hoodie sweatshirt.

Soren is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and is described as “well built.” He is a rock climber.

According to Salida police, he left without his phone, wallet, driver’s license or bank card. He did have about $45 in cash, and police have checked local motels without success.

A cash reward is offered for any information that helps to locate him. His father, Steve Tucker, can be reached at 221-1872.
