A 6-year-old boy has gone missing from Berea.
Berea police said 29-year-old Stevie Saylor Jr. did not have custody of his son, Stevie Saylor III, but took him from the child’s mother anyway.
Berea Police are not calling this a kidnapping but are asking the public to help them the two.
Police believe he is somewhere in Madison County. They have not said if Saylor Jr. is dangerous.
The child’s mother and grandmother said this all started in Rockcastle County a few days ago when the child’s mother was being held against her will.

She then got away and said Saylor Jr. hit her car and took their son Monday in Madison County.
Police said there are active warrants for Saylor Jr.’s arrest. He has been in trouble before for drinking and contempt of court.
They were last seen in a 1990’s maroon Jeep. If you know where they are, you are asked to call police.
