Neighbors say a man shot his landlord in a dispute over an electric bill in Louisville Monday.
Police arrested Anthony Jecker, 54, and charged him with murder after the shooting at an apartment building at the corner of Fegenbush Lane and Norbrook Drive in the city’s south end. Police didn’t confirm the details, and officials have not released the victim’s name.

Metro Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the shooting happened on a busy side street in the Norfolk neighborhood with children and families just outside.
“Someone decided to do something that obviously killed someone, but also could’ve put a lot of other people in danger,” he said.
