The missing 6-year-old boy has been found safe in Madison County but the search for his father continues.
Police are still trying to find 29-year-old Stevie Saylor Jr. He’s wanted for a long list of potential charges including wanton endangerment, violation of a protection order, unlawful imprisonment and assault.
Stevie Saylor III was returned to his mother this evening in Berea.
Berea Police said the father dropped the boy off at the child’s grandmother’s home on Paint Lick Road and then she turned the child into police and state troopers.
His mother said this all started in Rockcastle County when the boy’s mother was being held against her will at gun point.
She said her ex-husband followed her to Berea, then took their son Monday afternoon.

Now police said Saylor Jr. is on the run. He is wanted for several arrest warrants and investigators said they believe he is driving a black Chevy S10 pickup truck.
If you know where Saylor Jr. is, you’re asked to call police right away.
