Officials in Mason County canceled a Golden Alert after a missing woman returned home Wednesday evening.
Deputies say Virgie R. Beckett, 76, left her home in the Eastern Hills subdivision in Lewisburg sometime around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Officials say family members indicated that she might harm herself.

Officials did not provide any information about where Beckett was during the time she was missing, but indicated she was home safe.
