Fraud Investigation Person of Interest Williamsburg, VA

The Williamsburg Police Department is asking for help identifying a person of interest in a fraud investigation.

According to Williamsburg police, an unknown woman went into the Wells Fargo Bank on Richmond Road on July 15 and withdrew a large sum of cash. Investigators said she used the stolen identity of a local citizen to withdraw the money.

According to police, the individual later attempted to do the same thing at a Yorktown branch, but was not successful.
