A man is headed to prison for eight years in connection with a murder.
Sammy Bertram was sentenced Friday in Lewis County.
In July, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the murders of Jeff Long and Pamela Willis.

Long and Willis were found dead in Long’s burned out trailer along Leatherwood Road in February 2008. Five people were arrested in connection with that crime.
In 2010, Mitchell Royster, 27, was charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of first-degree arson.
In February 2013, Bertram, and Willie Burns, 25, and Chrissie Royster, 25, each were charged with two counts of murder, robbery, arson and tampering with physical evidence. Ashley Craft, 24, was charged with complicity to commit robbery.
Bertram was sentenced to eight years in Greenup County in connection with the murder. He was sentenced Friday to five years in Lewis County for an unrelated case. Those sentences will be served concurrently.
