Investigators say they were alerted to allegations Vanhorn had inappropriately touched a minor child, so officers executed a search warrant at his home and seized several computers.
The Attorney General said Vanhorn was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct of a minor.
He faces 25 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
