Beaverton police are on the look out for a local man who disappeared Friday.
Scobee Mike Bates, 58 was reported by his wife as missing and endangered.
Bates was last seen by his wife on the evening of Thursday Sept. 11, 2014 when they went to bed. He was noticed missing at approximately 5:00 a.m. on the morning of the Sept. 12.
Bates left his residence and took no personal items with him when he left. His driver’s license, credit cards and money were all left at home.

He was last seen at his work at 6:00 a.m. on Friday morning before quitting his job and turning in his cell phone.
Bates is 6ft tall, 200lbs, with greyish brown medium-length hair and a greyish brown goatee (not shown in photo).
He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt and possibly carrying a backpack.
His wife described him as a person of habit and a homebody, with no friends or distant family.
She said he has never done anything like this before, but had recently become moody and withdrawn.
Possible reasons include chronic migraines and issues at work.
His wife believes this pushed him over the edge, that he is suicidal and likely to take medication to overdose.
