Two Charlotte doctors have been charged following a prescription fraud investigation.
Dr. Benjamin Hobbs, 37, and Dr. Samuel Hobbs, 40, of Clear View Eye Care were involved in the scheme, according to police.
CMPD began investigating after alleged victims notified police. Detectives say the doctors wrote prescriptions for Hydrocodone and requested the patients return to the practice with the medication. They would then allegedly remove a portion or all of the pills from the bottles.
