Benton County Sheriff Butch Pritchett said the body of 68-year-old Nena Metoyer was found buried in the backyard of her daughter’s home Saturday afternoon.
Metoyer was reported missing back on September 24.

Metoyer came to Indiana from Florida in late August to care for her daughter, 49-year-old Teresa Jarding, who had medical issues. Jarding died from medical related issues shortly after Metoyer was reported missing.
Detectives aren’t releasing many details, but a neighbor told WTHI-TV’s sister station, WLFI, that she saw detectives wearing gloves combing through the backyard for several hours Saturday.
