A 25-year-old Chunchula woman remained in Mobile Metro Jail Wednesday on multiple sex-related charges involving children, according to jail records.
Brandie Renee Smith was charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy and six counts of sex abuse of a child under 12.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Lori Myles said that deputies arrested Smith at her home at 1755 Stagecoach Drive.
Jail records show Smith has a prior arrest for domestic violence and for traffic violations. She will appear in Mobile County District Court Nov. 13, according to jail records.
