The Fayette County Coroner’s Office has identified a man shot and killed in Lexington as 23-year-old Alejandro Dominguez-Hernandez.
Investigators were called to the 600 block of Johnston Road, between Paris Pike and Bryan Station Road, at around 7:30 p.m. Monday. The coroner says the man was found dead inside the back passenger seat of a car along the road. He appeared to have suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.

At around 7:45 p.m. when LEX 18 crews arrived to the scene, there were two cars and one SUV in the middle of the road, surrounded by a crowd of people. It was not clear if the other cars and people standing at the scene were involved, however officers took them away in police cruisers.
The Mobile Crime Lab and the canine unit spent hours on scene, and shut down a portion of Johnston Road.
No arrests have been made.
