A traffic stop in Dover led to the arrest of a passenger who had a stash of cocaine hidden in his prosthetic leg, city police said Tuesday.
Safe Streets Unit officers stopped an SUV for a traffic offense shortly after 2:30 p.m. Monday in the area of McKee Road, south of College Road, Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
A city police K-9 alerted for illegal narcotics in the vehicle and officers searched the front seat passenger, finding 28.7 grams of cocaine hidden in his artificial leg, Hoffman said.

Marlow Holmes, 39, of the 600 block Crawford Ave., Dover, was charged with cocaine possession with intent to deliver, cocaine possession in the highest-quantity category and drug paraphernalia possession.
He was committed to Vaughn Correctional Center near Smyrna after failing to post $81,000 secured bail.
