Insurance Fraud Rochester, NY Woman Convicted After Arson

A Rochester woman has been convicted of insurance fraud and falsifying business records after an arson fire in 2012.

Christina Ann McClarty-Murray, age 36, faces seven years in prison.

Prosecutors say McClarty-Murray and her husband Terrell Murray, age 35, filed a fraudulent insurance claim for a fire set by an arsonist on Jefferson Road. Her husband has previously been convicted. The arsonist who has set the fire has not been identified.
