Police in Texas have arrested two people wanted in a Floyd County murder case.
Officers near Amarillo arrested Floyd “Junior” Sexton, 33, and Jennifer Jernigan, 40, during a traffic stop.
Police say Sexton and John Maggard got into a fight with Bill Collins in November of last year. Investigators say Sexton shot and killed Collins. Officers say Jernigan drove the men away, then took off with Sexton and his 8-year-old son.

Officials say police in Texas found an 8-year-old and a 13-year-old in the car with Sexton and Jernigan. They did not confirm that the younger child was Sexton’s son.
The child and teen were not harmed and will be reunited with family in Kentucky.
