The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered girl who may be traveling into Kansas.
The missing child is five-year-old Sidney Carlisle. She’s white, about 3’8″ and weighs approximately 35 pounds. She has short brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen in her front yard wearing a pink Snoopy dress.
The CBI says that around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 28-year-old Kiri McMillion arrived at the girl’s home in Colorado Springs and forcibly picked her up when she refused to leave.

McMillion is Carlisle’s mother, but does not have custody of the girl. She’s described as a white female, 5’6″ and 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink flannel shirt, jeans and cowboy boots.
The CBI said McMillion is a known drug user and has previously abandoned one of her children with non-family members after taking them.
McMillion and the girl left in a vehicle that has since been recovered in Yuma, Colorado. The CBI says McMillion may also now be with a man tentatively identified as Joe Sampson, but there is no description of him or the vehicle they’re in. Authorities believe they may be traveling into western Kansas.
