Keith E. Titus, of Auburn was charged today with predatory sexual assault against a child, endangering the welfare of a child and course of sexual conduct against a child.
Titus is accused of having sexual intercourse with an 11-year-old girl in October 2014 and engaging in sexual acts on multiple occasions with a second female victim from 2004-2006, when the victim was between 7-9 years-old.

The indictment came after a 6 month investigation by the Auburn Police Department. Titus was arraigned Thursday, July 23, in Cayuga County Court and is being held without bail.
In relation to this case, Joelle Hayle Wells was charged by indictment with intimidating a victim or witness and tampering with a witness.
Wells is accused of sending a Facebook message to the younger victim in the Keith Titus case, disparaging the victim’s father and stating that, “Everyone better watch the f*** out.”
Wells was arraigned in Cayuga County Court on July 20. He is being held on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond. Wells posted bail after arraignment and was released.
