A Lexington man is facing 23 charges including possession of a forged instrument and fraudulent use of a credit card.
According to his arrest citation, police received calls from Central Bank saying they believed a batch of their credit cards had been compromised back in July, but all of the victims still had their cards.

Police say 27-year-old David Burnside was using re-encoded Central Bank credit cards. Burnside was arrested Wednesday morning.
Central Bank says this was a merchant breach and the bank’s fraud security caught it immediately. The bank gave customers new cards and no one’s accounts were affected.
