A man aboard a flight to China was arrested for murder Friday after a woman’s body was found inside a Colorado Springs storage unit.
38-year-old James T. Woo is charged with first degree murder. He was arrested Friday aboard a flight from Seattle to Hong Kong.
The body of 33-year-old Julie Tureson was found inside the Public Storage Facility in the 4400 block of E. Platte Avenue by deputies following up on a missing persons report. They determined the manner of death was homicide and identified Woo as a person of interest.

Woo was tracked to the Seattle Airport, where he was aboard a flight to Hong Kong. Woo was arrested with assistance from Homeland Security and is charged with first degree murder.
Woo is still in Seattle and is being held at the Seattle Correctional Facility.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating Woo’s background. His home, employment, and family are in the San Francisco Bay area, but he is known to frequent the Front Range of Colorado.
