A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing 13-year-old female out of Laurel County.
Sheriff’s officials say that Makayla Marie Mayfield of Lily, Kentucky was last seen early Monday morning around 1 a.m. at her home on McNew Lane. It is unknown where she is or where she may be headed.

Mayfield is described as a white female, 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighing 135 pounds. She has brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. Her family was unable to provide a clothing description.
