Fire investigators in Franklin County are looking at a possible arson that occurred Thursday night. The homeowner there believes someone lit his barn on fire.
The barn was more than 100 feet long, full of lumber and equipment. Now it’s not only rubble, it’s the center of a possible arson investigation.
Franklin County Magistrate Lambert Moore has owned the barn for nearly a decade. He says on Thursday night he got a call that the fire department was there fighting a fire. When he drove over, he saw the entire barn was engulfed in flames.

He lost valuable lumber, trucks, tractors and his custom made gooseneck trailer.
Moore says in talking with investigators, they don’t think this is at all a random event.
“It’s hard to tell, really. it was burning from end to end before it ever got into the roof or the sides. it looked like somebody spread some gas and lit it,” said Moore.
Moore is asking for anyone’s help in finding who may be responsible for this.
