Missing Person Golden Alert Cancelled After McCreary Co. Woman Found Safe

Police have issued a Golden Alert for Gladys Yancey, 69.

Yancey left her home on Pigskin Road around 5 p.m. Saturday and was last seen in the Bell Farm area around 6:30 p.m.

She was driving a red/silver smart car with license plate # 608 WSX.

Yancey is suffering from dementia and needs medical attention. As a result of her medical conditions, she may respond to other last names: King, Cox, or Cooper.

Anyone sighting or with knowledge of the whereabouts of Yancey, is asked to call 911, McCreary County Emergency Management (606) 376-3770, or the Kentucky State Police (606) 878-6622.

UPDATE: Yancey has been found safe in Fentress County, TN and family is on the way to bring her home.
