Missing Person Pierre Fuqua of Joliet, IL

A Joliet resident went missing in Morris after attending a friend’s birthday party.

Thirty-year-old Pierre Fuqua was last seen leaving the household where the party took  place around 1 p.m. on June 4.

His mother, Deborah Carver, said Fuqua’s phone is dead and he has not contacted anyone or showed up to work.

“He is a father of two with a quiet side, but he always went to work faithfully,” Carver  said.

The last time Carver spoke with her son was Memorial Day weekend.

“He was supposed to come over that next Saturday and he never showed up,” Carver said.

Fuqua has a beard and tattoos on his right arm and near his thumb. He was wearing a gray-and-red T-shirt that said ‘last king’ and jeans, and was driving a black, beat-up Saturn, his mother said.

A missing person case was filed with the Joliet Police Department, Carver said, and the police currently are investigating.

The Joliet police did not respond to a call for comment Monday.

Carver made a public plea for information on her son’s whereabouts.

“I just want him home,” Carver said. “If anyone has seen him, call the police.”
