QUEENSBURY — A Queensbury woman was charged with three felonies Tuesday in a welfare fraud investigation, police said.
Kelli Lynn Smith, 32, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, attempted first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and fourth-degree welfare fraud, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
She is accused of receiving $2,100 in public assistance by not reporting unemployment insurance income, authorities said.

Smith was released pending prosecution in Queensbury Town Court. Sheriff’s Investigator Kevin Conine made the arrest with assistance from the Warren County Department of Social Services.
