Fraud Investigation Daniel Garcia Possible Ringleader

FOX 2 NEWS cameras were at the scene last night as a laundry list of high quality goods were pulled from a trio of McAllen apartments and it’s allegedly involving a month’s long case of credit card fraud.
Big screen TV’s, plush leather couches, brand new golf clubs and even a black hummer, along with many other top quality goods were pulled from a trio of apartments near the corner of 23rd and Redbud.

The McAllen Police Department, with the aid of McAllen Public Works spent the better part of Tuesday evening hauling the goods onto trucks to be carted away as evidence.
A member of the McAllen Police Department, told FOX 2 NEWS, off camera that this may be related to a credit card fraud and abuse case that they’ve been following for months
And it’s these high priced purchases that had caused neighbors to take notice.
It is believed to be a credit card fraud ring which brought about the arrest of this man, Daniel Garcia, believed to be the ringleader.
He will be serving 2 years in prison and forced to pay $74,000 in restitution.
No word yet on if more arrests will follow.
And although one arrest has been made, which may or may not be directly involved with the case, a member of the McAllen Police Department did inform us, off camera and with the amount of goods involved, that this is an ongoing investigation.
