Private Detective Body Found in Car Wash

Farmington Hills— Police are investigating the death of a person whose body was discovered Sunday morning behind a closed car wash.

Sgt. Ron Goosen said the body of the deceased — described as a white male from Farmington Hills between the ages of 45 to 55 — was discovered by a resident.

“We hadn’t received any reports that this person was missing,” Goosen said. “Officers and medics were called to the scene, and he was pronounced dead a short time later.”

The body was discovered at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday behind a self service car wash at 30544 Grand River.

According to Goosen, the car wash went out of business about a year ago.

No further details were released about the man.
