OLYMPIA, Wash. — A missing person case led to the arrest of an Olympia man for possession of child pornography.
Troy A. Fisher was reported missing on Tuesday. His family hadn’t heard from the 52-year old since Sunday and he hadn’t reported to work at the Capital Playhouse Theater on Monday.
As police investigated the disappearance, detectives searched Fisher’s computer in hopes of finding clues to where he might have gone. Instead, a computer forensics specialist found pornographic photos involving children, according to police.

A disoriented Fisher turned up on Wednesday and told police he had no memory of where he’d been since Sunday. He was arrested after being taken to Capital Medical Center for a precautionary examination.
The investigation is ongoing, but police don’t believe there’s any connection between the disappearance and the pornography.
