St. George police say they saw a man sleeping in a vehicle at a Pilot Truck Stop in Bloomington on Thursday. An officer became suspicious while speaking to the man and had a narcotics dog sniff around the vehicle.

The dog alerted police to something suspicious, and officers searching the vehicle found drugs in a secret compartment.

Jesus J. Udave has been booked into the Washington County jail on suspicion of drug possession. It’s not immediately clear if he has an attorney

Identity theft Conrad J. Dulmes charged

A 57-year-old Sheboygan man has been charged with eight felony counts of identity theft for financial gain.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

Conrad J. Dulmes, 1105 S. 17th St., Apt. A, faces up to 24 years in prison and up to $80,000 in fines if convicted of all charges.
According to the criminal complaint:
Dulmes was being arrested on Dec. 20, 2011, when he asked officers to hand him his jacket. Before giving it to him, a detective checked the pockets and discovered a checkbook belonging to Benjamin Built Construction LLC of 1723 N. Fifth St.
Inside the checkbook were carbons for eight checks written to various businesses, including several to Kwik Trip and two to Shopko, in the amount of $617.59.
The account on which the checks were drawn, at Cleveland State Bank, had been closed in November. Video and still surveillance images from several retail stores show a man who looks like Dulmes making purchases.
He acknowledged to investigators that the checkbook was not his, but didn’t admit writing the checks.

executive protection body guard Glen Burton speaks

GLEN BURTON’S face was splashed across newspapers around the world when the news broke that Madonna had adopted a baby from Malawi.

The former Newlands School pupil who tried “every trick in the book” to keep the world’s paparazzi at bay, was pictured along with Madonna’s PA carrying baby David on board a plane.

But Madonna is just one of a list of celebs, which also includes Halle Berry, Heidi Klum and Will Smith, who have hired Glen as a bodyguard

http://liarcatchers.com/executive_protection.html

Now, after the Gazette approached him, Glen has decided to speak about his work protecting the world’s rich and famous. “I’ve been asked to tell my story many times and I always thought no, no, no,” said the 37-year-old based in Houston, Texas, who regularly visits family on Teesside.

Glen signed up for the Army when he left school at 16 and joined the first battalion Coldstream Guards. But he didn’t think 21 years later he would have travelled to 75 countries and set up his own security business, Erimus Risk.

Glen served with the Army for 10 years and carried out tours across the globe, including the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia. He said: “I remember some people thought I wouldn’t last five minutes in the Army – it was a long five minutes.”

It was in 1994, while he was in Bosnia that Glen decided working in the security business was for him. At the time he was a driver for the United Nations military commander in the Balkans, General Sir Michael Rose, alongside a British Special Forces Close Protection Team.

Glen, who volunteered for all of his seven operational tours during his Army career, said: “As a 20-year-old I was thrust right into the heart of war but I was working with some of the best.

“I watched, learned and was given the opportunity of being with the team protecting the general on a daily basis.

“That experience was invaluable but the work and the risk captured my imagination.”

Glen left the army in April 2000 and undertook a close protection course for his resettlement. After moving to LA in 2001, he was soon employed by a number of companies to protect A-listers.

One of his most high profile jobs was when he visited Malawi in March 2006 when Madonna decided to adopt David Banda.

“It didn’t take long for the paparazzi to turn up with the word out that she might adopt,” said the former St Gerard’s School pupil. “Everywhere we went they followed. First it was just a couple of cars, then we’d have six then 10. It became a big pain in the backside.”

At one point, the team had to use Madonna’s PA as a decoy, getting her to wear a wig so the paparazzi would follow her and the real Madonna could move around more freely.

Despite the attention, Glen says he didn’t fully appreciate the media frenzy until they arrived in the UK. Glen, whose mum Kathleen Rennie lives in Coulby Newham, and dad Gerard lives in Hemlington, said: “We landed at 6am at Heathrow to what seemed to be the world’s paparazzi.

“I remember walking near Marble Arch once I’d handed over David and left the house. Passers-by seemed to be looking at me, news stands had pictures on every front page with me leaving Malawi. It felt surreal and somewhat uncomfortable. I wasn’t used to that.”

Despite not being used to the media attention, Glen says he realises it is part of his job, and says the fact he doesn’t stick out has helped him.

Glen, dad to Poppy, two, said: “I found the majority of people that I’ve worked for – most notably high net-worth families – prefer someone who can blend into their environment, rather than stand out.”

Over the years Glen says he’s seen it all as snappers try to get exclusive pictures, including paying waiters $100 to work in their place at a restaurant.

But one of his most unusual cases was when he was working for German model Heidi Klum and her then husband Seal when they renewed their vows a couple of years ago.

Glen said: “I was on the beach with a Boro top on jogging when I noticed out to sea a four-seater boat in the distance.

“A guy kept popping up and laying back down again as if he was doing sit ups. He was getting snatch pictures.”

In 2008, when he realised that his training would give him an edge in LA, Glen decided to set up his company. And as a nod to his Boro roots its name includes Middlesbrough motto Erimus, Latin for We shall be.

He said: “The training for a Guard Card in LA is eight hours. This qualifies you to guard car parks, shopping malls and yes, people’s lives. In the UK to become a licenced close protection officer you need a relevant civilian, military or police course under your belt. This course is about a month-long including first aid and trauma.”

Although his work has seen him fly across the globe, Glen says his job can be very hard. “A lot of people think I must be on cloud nine travelling on private jets,” he said.

“Yes I do enjoy certain amounts of it but it is a job, with serious parts.”

Pediphile tracking hired as a Pastor

The Word of the Lord says, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:5-8 NJKV The Lord said these last days would be as the days of Noah.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

I know God is a forgiving God, Lord knows I am so grateful for His forgiveness. How could these people hire this man, knowing his weakness, and knowing that he could possibly molest children again. And to return this man to the pulpit and ban children from the church. Surly, boundaries are being crossed, the envelope is constantly being pushed, more and more evil is being permitted. It won’t be long before the thoughts of man’s heart will be evil continually…This is so creepy!

A Baptist church in Jacksonville has hired a registered sex offender as its new pastor, but because a court has ruled the he’s not allowed to have “unsupervised contact with children under 18 years old,” the church has decided to ban kids from its Sunday services. Back in 2009, Darrell Gilyard pleaded guilty to charges of lewd conduct and lewd molestation according to News4Jax.com. At the time Gilyard was a pastor at Shiloh Baptist Church. His victims were female members of his congregation under 18. He molested one 15-year-old girl and sent a lewd text message to another.

Gilyard was released from jail on December 28 and began preaching at the Christ Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in late January.

As part of his three-year probation, Gilyard cannot have any unsupervised contact with children. However, even any supervised contact must be OK’d by a therapist. He must also enroll in a sex offender therapy program before supervised contact is allowed. Gilyard says he’s enrolled in such a program, and his attorneys have filed a motion seeking to clarify the terms of his probation and to allow children in the church while he’s at the pulpit according to Jacksonville.com.

In the meantime, the church has decided to ban all children from Sunday service.

“Somehow I will prove that life isn’t over when one has committed a crime for which he receives this heinous label,” Gilyard told a Jacksonville.com reporter through text message. “You don’t have to languish on the fringes of society.” Notice how he calls the label heinous but not the crime.

Oddly, Gilyard’s arrival at the church has caused a spike in attendance. Before Gilyard joined the church about 10 members came to service. Now the numbers are between 150 and 200. [

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 2Tim. 3:13

Drug Dog Sweeps Peanut butter could not hide cocaine

Two Springfield men and a Holyoke woman were charged Thursday with trafficking cocaine after they accepted receipt of a package that U.S. postal inspectors had found to contain 273 grams of pure cocaine, police said.

http://liarcatchers.com/drugdogsweeps.html

Arrested were Jorge Rivera, 36 and Johnny Rivera, 24, both of 47 Worcester Ave., and Marilyn Nunez, 47, of 121 Roberto Clemente Ave., Holyoke. Each was charged with trafficking cocaine in excess of 250 grams, violation of a drug-free school zone, and conspiracy to violate drug law

The cocaine, 9.6 ounces in all, was packed inside jars of peanut butter, apparently in an attempt to thwart detection from drug-sniffing dogs, but the move did not work, said police spokesman Sgt. John Delaney, aide to Police Commissioner William Fitchet.

Postal officials contacted police when one of their dogs zeroed in on the package. Police obtained a district court search warrant, opened the package and found the cocaine, Delaney said.

Before police could arrange the post office to deliver the package as planned, the two Riveras and Nunuz went to the Liberty Street post office to pick it up. They were arrested once they accepted the package, Delaney said.

There have been other cases over the years where people have tried to put one over the drug-sniffing dogs. In August, 2010, a Holyoke man was arrested with when the dogs found $100,000 in cocaine hidden in a tube of bologna that had beem mailed from Puerto Rico.

They were scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Springfield District Court, but court information was not available.

Fraud Investigation Casey Williams, Beaufort NC

BEAUFORT, N.C. – A number of people along the Crystal Coast have been taken into custody as a result of a prescription fraud ring investigation.

The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement Friday.

Investigators say the fraud ring operated in Carteret, Craven, Onslow, New Hanover and Brunswick Counties.

The investigation into the ring began after a report that Casey Williams, who was
employed as a radiology technician at Crystal Coast Family Practice of Morehead City, had allegedly stolen prescription pads from previous doctor’s offices where she was employed. It’s alleged that she was both writing and selling illegal
prescriptions.

Investigation into the report showed that Williams and her boyfriend James
Maynor forged numerous prescriptions from the stolen pads and also sold forged
completed scripts to buyers who were willing to pay.

Deputies say the pads in question came from doctor’s offices at Port City Neurosurgery & Spine in Wilmington, Coastal Carolina Orthopedic Surgery in Jacksonville, and Medac Health Services in Wilmington. Williams was formerly employed by all three.

It’s alleged the couple began selling the fraudulent prescriptions to buyers in New
Hanover and Brunswick County before the pair eventually moved to Havelock. While there, they allegedly continued to sell prescriptions and prescription medication to buyers in Carteret County.

http://liarcatchers.com/fraud_investigation.html

Investigators were then able to backtrack the scripts that came from the stolen pads and obtain a list of buyers.

A tip in December led to the couple being questioned by both detectives with the sheriff’s department and the SBI. The couple allegedly distributed approximately
4,580 (10 MG) Percocet pills. Most were sold on the street for $10 per pill.

“Our drug detectives and SBI Agent Cecil Cherry deserve a lot of credit for all the time and effort they put into this case” said Sheriff Asa Buck.

Insurance Fraud Michael Amzie Holley

An Orange County judge sentenced a roofing contractor to a year in city jail for failing to provide workers’ compensation insurance for an employee who injured himself in a fall from a roof.
Michael Amzie Holley of Murrieta, who pleaded guilty to 16 felony counts related to perjury, filing false documents, and making false statements, faced a maximum three years in state prison, prosecutors said.
Superior Court Judge Patrick Donahue ordered him to serve one year in a city jail and 10 years formal probation, with restitution to be paid even as he serves jail time.

http://liarcatchers.com/insurance_fraud.html

Serving the time at a city jail, yet to be determined, will allow Holley to work during the day and continue making payments, which is why the judge said he was letting him serve time there.
Holley has paid back $120,000 of the $510,883 to be paid to the California State Compensation Insurance Fund and the Employment Development Department.
Sending him to jail will allow him keep his job at a construction company during the day to continue making restitution payments, which are to be sent through the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
According to prosecutors, Holley purchased the minimum workers’ compensation policy for his company, So Cal Roofing, and reported that he had no employees. He paid his workers in cash and submitted inaccurate payroll reports to hide their employment, they said.
On March 18, 2003, one of his employees fell from a roof and filed a workers’ compensation claim.

Missing person A Child Is Missing Program

Police Chief Keith Banks has formalized an agreement with the A Child Is Missing Alert Program that has led to a high tech method now in place to search locally for missing children, missing elderly (often with Alzheimer’s), college students, and missing persons who may be mentally or physically challenged or disabled.

Effective March 1, upon receipt of missing persons calls, the Rehoboth Beach Police Department will make its first phone call to a toll-free number that rings in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. — the national headquarters of the A Child Is Missing Alert Program. The call, answered 24/7/365 by an information and mapping technician, initiates a rapid process of information gathering and use of sophisticated mapping systems. A Child Is Missing then launches potentially thousands of calls within minutes with an alert message detailing the missing person’s description, last known whereabouts, and pertinent information. This alert message will also include a Rehoboth Beach Police Department phone number for use by anyone with information relating to the missing person.

This program is a free service to law enforcement. Rehoboth Beach Police Department officials will evaluate each potential activation of the A Child Is Missing Alert Program to ensure the application is appropriate to the case and to ensure the system is optimally used. Policies, procedures, and employee training will also guide the most efficient and effective use of this alert program.

Phone numbers that are called by this program include listed numbers and mobile numbers available to ACIM in the selected area. Mobile numbers, unlisted numbers, broadband/voice-over IP numbers, or TDD/TTY devices can be added to ensure they, too, are called in the event of an alert. To enter your cell phone, unlisted, broadband/voice-over IP or TDD/TTY device number visit www.achildismissing.org and click on “add your name” to enter your name, number, and address. This information will only be used for emergency message alerts.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

A Child Is Missing is a nationwide non-profit organization that helps law enforcement agencies locate missing children, missing elderly persons (often suffering from Alzheimer’s), college students, and missing persons who are mentally or physically challenged or disabled.

A Child is Missing utilizes sophisticated computer mapping systems and trained technicians with the capacity to place 1,000 alert phone calls in one minute to residents and businesses in the area where someone has gone missing. To date, the efforts of A Child Is Missing have been credited with more than 920 safe assisted recoveries.
