Private Detective: Mother Searches For People Who Received Organ Donations From Her Son

A Kentucky mother’s mission for closure, is making waves online. More than 14 years after her young son was killed in Lexington, Anita Cooper is searching for the people he saved through organ donation.

More than a decade ago, on Russell Cave Road, 9-year old Davey Dunavant was crushed by an uprooted tree while sitting in a hammock.

“I said, keep talking to me Davey. And I kept looking at him and he said mommy, and I said Davey, and he said I love you,” said Anita. She remembers the last moments with her son, just as she remembers his smile.

“The smile in his eyes. A lot of love,” said Anita.

With the love she has in her heart, Anita is on a mission for closure. She wants to find the part of Davey that still lives in the many people he saved through organ donation.

“If I don’t meet the people, whoever it may be, I just want to see what a picture of them looks like. That way I can say, that’s what Davey did,” said Anita.

On Sunday Anita went online, and posted this message on Facebook. Then in a matter of hours, it was shared dozens of times.

“I just started typing please keep sharing. I wanted to know how far it was going to go,” said Anita. “And now it shows 186.”

With the help of the public, Anita hopes her message reaches the right people.

“I want them to know that he was awesome,” said Anita.

It’s memory to help ease her own pain.

“A lot of closure. I would be able to just keep going,” said Anita.

For now, she’ll keep searching, and is asking everyone to sign up for organ donation, in honor of Davey.

Missing Person Clifton Sigman of Carter County Missing 1 Year

Tuesday marks one year since a Carter County man was last seen.

His loved ones gathered, Monday night, as they hold on to hope that Clifton Sigman will be found.

“Whether it’s good or whether it’s bad we just need to know,” family and friends prayed.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

“As of right now all that we know if that he is missing,” said Angela Mullannix, a close family friend. “It is presumed that he is deceased.”

Sigman’s family says the 30 year-old was last seen walking away from his Stump Run Road home after he and his brother had words.

Several hours passed, and he never returned.

A few days later, Kentucky State Police classified him as a missing person.

“There were some items found about a quarter of a mile down the road that were his personal items but that was the last trace of him,” Mullannix said.

LEX18’s Jessica Reyes asked what was found. Mullannix responded, “cigarettes, gloves and a mountain dew bottle.”

And they were all found in an abandoned building with no trace of Sigman.

Since then little progress has been made in the investigation. That’s why friends and family gathered at Sigman’s house to pray for closure.

“It ain’t been really good I’ll tell you that I mean it’s every day you think about him,” said George King, family friend.

“I wish someone would just come forward and say where he’s at so we could just find him,” said Chris Pennington, another friend. “Let’s have a burial for him at least his daughter could see him one last time.”

They hope someone, somewhere can shed a light on what happened but until then, they’ll continue to pray.

Sigman’s friends and family say they look for him every week and ask if you have any information about where he may be, call Kentucky State Police Post 14.

Pedophile Tracking Sex Offender Living on Ft. Campbell Military Base Sentenced to 25 Years

Kevin Alan Lewis, a civilian formerly residing on Ft. Campbell, Kentucky military base, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by a life sentence of supervised release by Senior Judge Thomas B. Russell, in U.S. District Court on November 19, 2015, for the offense of production of the sexually-explicit image of a minor, announced United States Attorney John E. Kuhn, Jr.

“Protecting the young and most vulnerable of our community is a priority of the Department of Justice and my office,” stated U.S. Attorney Kuhn. “The 25 year sentence is a just outcome as there is no parole in the federal system.”

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

According to the plea agreement filed July 21, 2015, Lewis admitted that on or about March 10, 2014, he persuaded and used an 11-year old male to photograph his (the minor’s) genitals, and then transmit that image to Lewis through the Internet, a facility of interstate commerce, with an electronic device. In addition, the photographic image was produced using materials that had been mailed, shipped, or transported in interstate or foreign commerce. The persuasion and use of the minor to produce the explicit image occurred on the Fort Campbell, Kentucky military base. According to three of five charges in a Superseding Indictment which were dismissed, Lewis was a registered sex offender in Christian County, Kentucky based on a 2003 conviction for Child Molestation in Georgia.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys David Sparks and Marisa Ford, and was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with the assistance of the United States Army Campbell Criminal Investigation Detachment (CID) at Fort Campbell.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.
