Private Detective: Police Search of Marion County Escapee

Authorities continue to search for a Marion County Detention Center inmate after he failed to return from a medical furlough Tuesday.

According to the jailer, Johnny Ray McQueen, 51, was granted temporary release to go to the doctor on Tuesday and did not return by the 5 p.m. deadline.

It was a follow-up appointment for an unspecified medical condition that McQueen had been treated for prior to being jailed in April for failure to comply with sex offender registration and fleeing and evading police.

In May, officials say McQueen had been issued this same medical furlough and he came back without any issues.

McQueen was indicted on a robbery charge in connection with an armed robbery at Cash-A-Check in Lebanon last March. According to the Lebanon Enterprise, McQueen faces additional charges of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and first-degree persistent felony offender.

McQueen is also listed on the sex offender registry for sexual assault.

If you have any information on McQueen’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact Lebanon police, State Police or the Marion County jail.

Missing Person Joseph Ronald Sizemore of Portland, Oregon

A Portland man was reported missing and endangered Sunday in Skamania County hours after deputies jump-started his car.

Joseph Ronald Sizemore’s red Ford Focus broke down on the side of Washougal River Road near Milepost 17. After calling his girlfriend from the Washougal River Mercantile, Skamania County deputies came to help around 11:45 a.m., giving him some gas and a jump-start, said Undersheriff Dave Cox.

The 42-year-old told the deputies he was driving home to his residence on Northeast Halsey Street, but family members say he didn’t return home. He’s considered a missing endangered person because of his mental state, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sizemore is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and 275 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who sees him is asked to call the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office at 509-427-9490 or call 911

“We managed to get a very low pulse, so we contained doing compressions until the EMT came,” she said. “We hooked up the bag and continued sound compressions without oxygen.”

The road was reopened by 6 p.m.

Private Detective: Richmond Pharmacy Robbery

It’s been six months since a Richmond Drug store was robbed by a man who made no attempt to hide his face.

Still, the case has gone cold.

Detectives have noticed a trend in robberies lately. More suspects who seem to be asking to be identified easily. Most of the suspects make no attempt to hide their faces.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“People are walking in and they’re trying to blend in like customers of a store as to not draw immediate alarm,” says Detective Jason Rothermund.

Detective Rothermund says, quite often, these criminals aren’t sure if they’ll commit to the crime when they walk in, but fortunately for investigators, when and if they do, cameras are rolling.

Cameras were rolling on March 26, when a man walked into Richmond Drug on Berea Rd. in Madison County.

“He asks some general questions about narcotics and what kind of prescriptions they fill. After those questions are answered by the store clerk, he pulls a black revolver out of his pants,” says Det. Rothermund.

The employee complies, putting all the drugs in plastic garbage bags. The man in the ball cap stays long enough to get a pretty good picture of his face.

But his face is all police have.

“We don’t see him get into a vehicle or anything so right now what we’re trying to determine based off of photos that we have and help Richmond Police identify who this suspect is,” says Det. Rothermund.

If you have information about this case, call the Crime Stoppers tipline at (859) 253-2020. Your information could earn you a cash reward.

Private Detective: Hardin County Man Accused of Luring A Child in TX

A Kentucky man was arrested in Texas last week after allegedly trying to abduct an 11-year-old girl.

Police say 55-year-old Charles Graas grabbed the child by the arm with her father just a few feet away.

The fifth-grader’s parents say they were waiting for her when she was dropped off by her school bus at the hotel where her family is temporarily living.

Her father says he was walking her inside to drop off her books when Graas, an Elizabethtown man, drove up in a black Ford flatbed truck and, with her father just a few feet away, he first called to the girl then got out of his truck and grabbed her by the arm.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“He just tried to call her over ‘psst, come here,’ and then he grabbed her and tried to force her into his vehicle,” said the victim’s mother, Adrian Thompson.

The girl’s family says she ran away and Graas went into the hotel. He was later arrested and charged with enticing a child.

Deputies said Graas was in Houston for work and was staying at the same hotel as the little girl and her family.

Wrongful Death Teen Arrested For Death of 5 Year Old Cousin in Dallas

The 17-year-old cousin of a Dallas girl whose body was found in a vacant apartment was arrested on a capital murder charge Monday in her death, police said.

Angel Lizandro Sanches-Zenteno was being held without bond. Jail records did not list an attorney for him. He also faces an immigration charge.

The medical examiner has ruled the initial cause of 5-year-old Kathrine Alejandra Gonzalez’s death as strangulation. The girl’s body was found Sunday afternoon.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

The child had been reported missing by her aunt, who last saw her playing outside with her sisters around 11:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. An uncle was watching the girl, her brothers and her sisters at the apartment complex while their parents worked.

Police said a witness told officers that he had seen the girl walking with Sanches-Zenteno around noon and had also seen the two of them together before the child was reported missing.

Her body was found about three hours after she was reported missing. Sanches-Zenteno’s apartment was next door to the one where the girl’s body was found.
