Pedophile Tracking Arrested Made in Sexual Assault of 5 Year Old Tulsa Girl

Tulsa Police Department’s Child Crisis Unit has confirmed an arrest has been made in connection with an reported child sexual assault.

Detectives told News On 6 that a citizen saw the news and notified authorities about a possible suspect after a woman said she awoke to find a strange man in her home assaulting her 5-year-old daughter.

The tip led police to question Kyle Hancock, 29, of Sapulpa, who is registered sex offender. Hancock was placed into custody Saturday night.

Officers now are in the process of obtaining a search warrant for Hancock’s home and they plan to do a DNA sample, they said.

News On 6 filmed as Hancock was led into the jail in a white jumpsuit, which is used to preserve evidence.

The girl’s mother said she awoke early Saturday morning to find a man sexually assaulting her 5-year-old daughter. It took place at about 4:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of South 112th East Avenue.

Police said the mother was asleep and woke to hear her daughter crying. She went into the room and saw Hancock with the child, authorities say.

She pulled him off her daughter, and he escaped the house through the kitchen window into the back yard, according to police.

TPD Sgt. Chris Moudy said they believe Hancock used the kitchen window to enter the home.

The woman called 911, and police started searching the neighborhood, using a K-9 officer.

At the time, Moudy said Hancock may have had a car waiting or the K-9 might not have been able to pick up his scent.

Police said Hancock was described as wearing a blue striped shirt and green boxer shorts at the time of the alleged attack.

Detectives said they don’t believe there was any prior relationship between Hancock and the family, and they are treating it as stranger rape.

The child was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Neighbors said the family is nice and is often seen taking neighborhood walks.

“I don’t understand the minds of people that do things like [sexual assault on a child],” neighbor Jerry Ishmael said. “They’re either taking something that makes them a little bit off balance or something.”

Hancock previously was convicted of lewd proposals/acts to a child under 16. In 2012, he was sentenced to three years suspended, fines and ordered to register as a lifetime sex offender.

Court records show Hancock was having trouble sticking to his payment plan and a probation violation report was filed in November 2013. The state made a motion to revoke his suspended sentence on Dec. 26, 2013 and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Missing Person 9 Year Old Temple Terrace, FL Girl

Temple Terrace Police say the body found near Clearwater’s Courtney Campbell Causeway is ‘likely’ that of missing 9-year-old Felecia Nicole Williams.

The Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office has the body.

Police spokesman Michael Dunn says investigators cannot confirm it is the girl until an autopsy is completed Sunday.

He did not know when that would take place.

Officers and other law enforcement agencies and family went door-to-door Saturday looking for the child.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html

She went missing Friday from the Doral Oaks Apartments on Tanglewood Place. She was wearing a black and green striped shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert for Williams, describing her as 4-foot-5 inches tall and 100 pounds.

Officers, Hillsborough Sheriff’s deputies, Tampa Police officers and crews with the Temple Terrace Fire Department canvassed the neighborhood, used a helicopter and searched a golf course and the nearby Hillsborough River.

The girl’s mother in Ybor City was contacted. Her sisters, cousins and grandmother aided in the search.

“Something ain’t right. I think my baby still alive. I just pray that she is,” said grandmother Brenda Johnson.

The child’s nickname is Sugarplum.

Police say a godmother picked up the girl from her Tampa home Friday afternoon and took her to the Doral Oaks apartment.

Police say they questioned the godmother.

After the godmother took a shower at the apartment, she discovered Williams was missing, and called police.

The girl’s older sister says it all just doesn’t make sense.

“She would never, never, never leave, never never wander off. She didn’t have a reason to. She goes to friends’ houses, but that’s about it. She comes back. She would never leave someplace that’s not familiar,” said sister Shakelia Givens.

Anyone with information about Felecia Williams or this incident should contact the Temple Terrace Police Department at (813) 989-7110 or call 911.

Insurance Fraud IL Doctor Plans to Plead Guilty

An Illinois doctor plans to plead guilty to billing insurance companies for a surgical procedure that he claimed to have performed at two medical centers in Lake County but never did, according to court records.

Subir Maitra also will agree to have his case moved to federal court in Chicago, where he is charged in another case, records show.

Maitra was charged in June with six counts of health care fraud. Federal prosecutors alleged that he bused Illinois patients with good health insurance to Hind Hospital in Hobart and Lakeside Surgery in East Chicago to perform a cystometrogram, a surgery that inserts a catheter through the urethra into the bladder.

http://liarcatchers.com/insurance_fraud.html

But Maitra never actually performed the surgery but billed the patients’ insurance companies for it, according to the government.

A plea agreement for Maitra has not been filed, but U.S. District Judge Rudy Lozano canceled his trial, which was set to start Monday in federal court in Hammond.

The Illinois case charges Maitra with three counts of paying a non-licensed physician in connection with his work at Sacred Heart Hospital in Chicago.

Pedophile Tracking Two Sex Offenders Convicted in Young County, TX

Two Young County men recently pled guilty in district court to a total of three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, marking a successful week for prosecutors in the 90th district but also shining light on an ongoing problem in the area.

On Tuesday, May 6, Jay Dirk Dunlap, of Graham, pled guilty and was sentenced to 33 years imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Three days later on May 9, Olney man Jonathan Michael Phillips pled guilty to continuous sexual abuse of a child and aggravated sexual assault of a child moments before jury selection was scheduled to begin, according to a press release issued by District Attorney Dee Peavy.

Phillips was sentenced to 30 and 35 years imprisonment respectively for the two charges, and will not be eligible for parole until he serves all of the 30 year sentence for the continuous sexual abuse conviction, the press release stated.

Since Peavy took office in 2012, most of the cases she has brought to trial in the 90th district, which encompasses Young and Stephens Counties, have involved allegations of sexual abuse of children, including the case of State v. Maxwell, in which the Defendant received two life sentences cumulated (stacked), and State v. Pair, in which the defendant received two life sentences to run concurrently. Both cases were tried in Young County.

Peavy said that at this time, she is preparing for another trial in Stephens County on three charges of first degree aggravated sexual assault of a child and one charge of second degree sexual assault of a child. In the press release, Peavy also credited area law enforcement, as well as local child advocacy center Virginia’s House, as being integral to the successful prosecution of child sexual abuse cases.

“The District Attorney’s Office and law enforcement are involved in these types of cases from initial investigation through trial, but the team at Virginia’s House is instrumental in helping our victims during the entire process, which can be quite lengthy,” Peavy said.
