Alimony Reduction

Client needed proof of Co-Habitation with his Ex Wife to reduce ( negate in this case ) his alimony support. He was sure she had been living with someone since the day of their separation.

http://liarcatchers.com/alimony_reduction.html

Liar Catchers used time lapse photos to catch ( we will call him co-habitant ) coming and going, dry cleaning, groceries etc. Reports being finished, and video and photos being submitted. I can only imagine the surprise on the Ex face when her deposition last week contradicted all that we caught on video. Client very happy, Liar Catchers very pleased, co-habitating Ex Wife…… In for some real trouble now.

Divine D. Garcia Jr. was arrested a month ago at LaGuardia Airport by law enforcement officials from the U.S. Marshals and Port Authority police, authorities said. He is one of eight people, including a former TD Bank teller, charged in the ID theft scheme.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

Garcia and his accomplices in the ring used stolen customer account information to withdraw sums ranging from $3,500 to $9,000 from TD Bank branch offices, authorities said. All eight in the ring were indicted on second-degree charges of conspiracy, theft by deception and identity theft.

The ring committed 21 separate thefts using the identities of mostly New York residents

The members of the ring who posed as legitimate TD Bank customers used forged New York driver’s licenses and withdrawal slips that were already completed to conduct their fraudulent withdrawals, the press release stated.

In some cases, drug addicts and homeless given clothes to enter the banks and withdraw funds.

The other seven people charged in the ring are Bronthie K. Charles, 27, of Brooklyn, N.Y.;  Antonio Clemente, 34, and Rosa Samuels, 59, of the Bronx; Robert A. Wadiak, 47, and Demira D. Woodson, 22, of Roselle Park; Kenneth L. Cummings, 53, of Philadelphia, Pa. and Blanche R. Lopez, 43, of Cliffside Park.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined the Lubbock Police Department in the search for missing 18-year-old Zoe Gabrielle Campos.

FBI spokeswoman Katie Chaumont confirmed local authorities asked for help from federal investigators. It’s not that FBI agents have more training in locating missing persons, but they do have access to federal and local resources, Chaumont said.

Different investigators also bring different perspectives to cases, she said. The goal of both agencies is to maximize exposure of the missing woman’s case.

http://liarcatchers.com/missing_persons_investigations.html

Campos was last seen late Nov. 17, but wasn’t reported missing until Nov. 19.

According to the FBI’s missing person poster, friends and family last heard from Campos during the early hours of Nov. 18. At 2:30 a.m. that day, Campos sent her mother a text message saying she was on her way to pick her up from work.

Campos never picked up her mother.

On Nov. 21, Campos’s silver 4-door Lincoln Town Car was found at the Driftwood Apartments on Utica Avenue, according to investigators. A family memmber saw someone driving the car and reported it to police. The driver was not found when police arrived.

Authorities believe Campos is in danger and are asking for the public’s help with the case. Anyone with information is urged to call the Crime Line at 806-741-1000 or the FBI at 972-559-5000.

She has not been located nor has she made contact with her family, and she is believed to be in danger.

Wrongful Death Eastern KY Double Murder Goes to Trial

An eastern Kentucky grand jury says there is enough evidence to put a Martin county man on trial for a double murder.

Orie Spence is charged with killing his cousin Edgar and another woman named April Hendrick on November 1st. The two were found shot to death in their home in Tomahawk on Rockhouse Road.

http://liarcatchers.com/wrongful_death.html
Spence told police he was having a sexual relationship with April Hendrick, and he shot Edgar in self defense. However, detectives say the evidence doesn’t line up with that story. Spence is expected to enter a plea later this month.

The investigation revealed that Lopez was the behind-the-scenes owner of Indian Rehabilitation Center, Inc., which was a licensed massage therapy clinic located in Jacksonville. According to a State Attorney’s press release, Lopez and four others staged an accident and later Lopez filed a Personal Injury Protection claim through IRCI. The clinic received $35,000 for treatment provided to Lopez and the other vehicle occupants.

Lopez was also found to have arranged for a straw owner of the clinic to be directed on how to fraudulently operate the clinic, which insurance companies to target and controlled IRCI’s bank accounts.

Investigators found Lopez hiding at a remote fish farm outside of Tampa, Florida, six months after the clinic was shutdown.

Pedophile Tracking Snellville, GA Couple Get 10 Years

Two Snellville residents have been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sex trafficking of a child.

Quintavis Deonte Dumas, 23, and Koya Tiffany Rooke, 24, also were ordered to pay a total of $17,572.47 in restitution.

Dumas and Rooke, who were boyfriend and girlfriend, were found guilty by a jury on Sept. 16, according to a news release. The evidence at trial showed that Dumas and Rooke were members of an organization that prostituted teenage girls in various states, including Virginia, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Dumas and Rooke frequently would rent the cars that were used to transport the teenage victims to the various places where they were prostituted. The two also rented hotels rooms where commercial sex acts occurred and allowed their computer to be used to post advertisements that were posted on Backpage.com to solicit customers.

Rooke herself was a prostitute and sometimes performed commercial sex acts with customers along with the victims. Besides transporting victims and renting hotel rooms, Dumas carried a firearm to ensure that the proceeds were secure and sometimes obtained drugs that were provided to the teenage victims.

In March 2013, two other members of the ring, Edwin Barcus Jr. and Joshua Deonte Dumas, pleaded guilty to engaging in a Child Exploitation Enterprise. Barcus was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment while Joshua Dumas was sentenced to 19.9 years of imprisonment.

This case was investigated by the Fairfax County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney Michael J. Frank and Special Assistant United States Attorney C. Alexandria Bogle prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States.

Identity Theft Lancaster, PA Woman Gets Probation

A Lancaster woman was sentenced to 3 years of probation by Dauphin County Judge Andrew H. Dowling this week after pleading guilty to scamming a 62-year-old East Shore man she met on a social networking site.

The charges of identity theft, forgery, access device fraud and theft by deception filed against Oleita Sims, 63, resulted from a probe by Lower Paxton Township police, Deputy District Attorney David Wilson said.

Wilson called the case “a cautionary tale about meeting people you know only through the internet.”

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

According to investigators, Sims met the victim on tagged.com, began traveling to his home to meet with him and they became romantically involved. Sims stole the routing number to the man’s bank account and tried to use it to pay a $744 utility bill for a relative, police said, and she took his credit card and used it to buy pizza and other food several times.

The victim told Dowling that Sims claimed she was a wealthy psychiatrist, according to the district attorney’s office.
