Pedophile Tracking Northern KY Doctor Arrested

A prominent doctor in northern Kentucky has been arrested on sex charges.

According to police in Kenton County, 59-year-old gynecologist Kevin McGinnis spent the last several months chatting online with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Police say they have records of McGinnis engaging in lewd sexual conversations and showing his genitals on a web cam.

Officers feared what might have happened if McGinnis had actually been talking with a teen.

“She said something along the lines of, ‘I’m only 14, I need to wait until I’m 16,'” recalls Brian Capps, the Kenton County Police Chief.

Police say McGinnis said he didn’t think he could wait that long. He’s expected to enter a plea in court on Monday.

Identity Theft Michigan Man Accused and Rotting Corpse Found

A Michigan man was arrested after authorities found the rotting corpse of a woman on his living room sofa.

Court officers made the discovery while serving an eviction notice on Dennis McCauley in Redford Township, near Detroit, this week.

Authorities believe the 72-year-old woman’s corpse had been there at least six months.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

McCauley, 64, was arraigned today on charges of failing to report a death, mutilation of a corpse, larceny, uttering and publishing involving Social Security checks and identity theft.

“When we found the body, the upper arm was separated from the right shoulder,” police Sgt. Kevin Crittenden told The Associated Press, referring to the mutilation charge.

Neighbors at the trailer park told the Detroit News they hadn’t seen the woman in months.

Preliminary autopsy results indicate she died of natural causes.

Authorities believe the two had lived together for about three years.

The incident comes after a Jackson, Michigan, kept her friend’s dead body clean and dressed in the home they shared last year because she was lonely.

Pedophile Tracking Longview, TX Man Jailed

A child’s cry for help resulted in the Thursday arrest of a Longview man charged with two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

Robert Bryan Gribble, 33, was being held Friday under $500,000 bond in the Gregg County Jail.

A sworn statement by Longview Police Detective Kevin Brownlee says Gribble described several indecent acts he performed on two elementary school-age children. The incidents occurred from January 2009 through this month, the sworn complaint says.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

According to Brownlee’s statement, which accompanies Gribble’s arrest warrants, the crimes occurred at two residences in Central Longview.

“This child absolutely did the bravest thing possible, and I am so thankful the child let the teacher know,” said Roxanne Stevenson, executive director of the Martin House Child Advocacy Center of Gregg and Harrison Counties.

“Parents should teach their kids about good touch and bad touch — about keeping secrets: what’s a good secret, like a surprise birthday party, and what’s a bad secret,” Stevenson said.

Brownlee wrote in the complaint that he was told Wednesday by an investigator with the Child Protective Services division of the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services that two children had been taken to the advocacy center.

The investigator told Brownlee that one of the children “had made an outcry to someone” and that Child Protective Services had been contacted by the children’s school.

Neither child repeated the complaint during interviews with advocacy center officials, the complaint says.

However, the same child who initially cried out began describing incidents of sexual abuse to a parent on the drive home, the complaint said.

The second child stated only that there was a secret held with Gribble but would not elaborate.

Brownlee’s interview with Gribble followed.

Steven said a partnership of professionals led to Gribble’s arrest. The Child Advocacy Center is a nonprofit agency, one of 66 statewide established to be a child’s first contact with help when they are abused or neglected.

“Parents need to know how prevalent this is in our community and know the signs,” Stevenson said. “So, when a child is too scared to talk about it, they see the signs.”

Identity Theft Winthrop Harbor, IL Man, Warrant Expected to be Issued

A warrant is expected to be issued for the arrest of Keith Mansfield of Winthrop Harbor, IL, because he didn’t make his initial appearance Thursday to face charges of identity theft.

Mansfield, 28, is wanted in Racine County for allegedly stealing the identities of at least two women and using their credit cards to purchase a variety of goods including placing ads for escort services, a motorcycle, and songs from iTunes.

According to the criminal complaint, Mansfield was the roommate of a Caledonia woman and a man for whom she was a caregiver, but the woman asked Mansfield to move out because she suspected he was selling prescription medication.

http://liarcatchers.com/identity_theft_investigation.html

Caledonia police say the woman contacted them in December 2012 to report charges on her account she did not authorize. Most of them involved PayPal but there were also charges at the iTunes store and for ads for escort services as if Mansfield and a different acquaintance were the escorts offering services.

Officers say the woman told them she suspected her former roommate – Mansfield – of stealing her information from the computer they shared in the house before she asked him to move out.

Mansfield also tried to apply for – but didn’t receive – a Walmart credit card and cell phone accounts from Verizon and Sprint using the woman’s daughter’s information as well as that of the disabled man for whom the woman is a caregiver, the complaint reads.

Then, in Feb. 2013, Caledonia police say another woman reported that Manfield had also stolen her identity after he helped her file her taxes.

Police say this second woman told officers that she got a bill on Feb. 14 from MotoSport, Inc. for goods she did not order. On Feb. 13, she said she spoke to Mansfield over the phone, and he told her he had just received two motorcycle tires and some riding equipment. He also said he was waiting for a television to get delivered.

Officers say the woman gave Mansfield all her information – including her date of birth, address, social security number – over the phone in order for Mansfield to file her taxes for her. After she got the bill from MotoSport, the woman ordered her credit reports and discovered there had been several attempts to open a variety of accounts in her name.

Police were able to confirm the transactions were from the IP and email addresses of Mansfield. The ordered items were scheduled to be delivered to his home in Winthrop Harbor but billed to the second witness’ address in Caledonia, the complaint reads.

Mansfield was summoned to court for his initial appearance Thursday, but when he didn’t show, a bench warrant was requested.

Pedophile Tracking New York School Employees Involved

The Bronx District Attorney’s office said on Friday that a pattern of sexual abuse of students by school employees was uncovered. However, complaints cannot be prosecuted because the crimes were committed a long time ago, press tv reported.

The investigation into the allegations of abuse came after New York Times Magazine published an article that accused some former instructors at the school in the Bronx of abusing and raping students.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Police and investigators interviewed over 20 former students of the school who said that they had suffered sexual abuse at the school.

According to a statement by the Bronx District Attorney, Robert Johnson, at least 12 former school employees were accused of being involved in the abuse.

The statement said that the interview conducted by the Bronx District Attorney’s office and the New York City Police Department (NYPD) disclosed “a systemic pattern of alleged abuse beyond what was outlined in the original New York Times Magazine article.”

“The reported abuse ranges from what may be characterized as inappropriate behavior to child endangerment, actual instances of sexual contact, sexual intercourse and criminal sexual acts,” Johnson added.

He pointed out that the majority of the sexual abuses are reported to have occurred in the 1970s and some school authorities were aware of the abuse, but they did not inform the police.

Earlier this year, according to Local media reports, Horace Mann School paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlement to most members of a group of 32 students who said they had been sexually molested.

Under the current New York state law, victims of child sex abuse in most cases are able to file complaints only until they are 23 years old.

The incidents took place in Wall, according to the indictment, which was handed up by Monmouth County grand juries April 19.

Pedophile Tracking Another Family Member Arrested in Lincoln County

LEX18 has learned another person has been indicted in a very disturbing investigation surrounding a family in Lincoln County.

The charges are difficult to hear, but according to a Kentucky State Police investigation going back several months, the nightmare of incest and sexual abuse was all too real in the Robinson family.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

In October of 2012, Tim and Rhonda Robinson were charged with four counts of incest and use of a minor in a sexual performance where they allegedly even made other children watch the sexual abuse. Friday, a Lincoln County grand jury indicted Tim’s brother, 40-year-old James Matthew Robinson, with similar charges involving the same abused children. Kentucky State Police Trooper Paul Blanton credits diligent police detective work for helping put the suspects behind bars.

“For ten to fifteen years, maybe longer than that, its been suspected. It’s been through Social Services’ actions of removing the children from the environment, that they felt comfortable speaking with the detective about what was going on,” says Trooper Paul Blanton.

Some of the charges in the indictment against James Matthew Robinson involve children under twelve years old. He’s been in trouble with the law before. Police say he was charged with assault fourth degree in Lincoln County in 2007, and DUI in Pulaski County in 2010. But police say this is another realm of criminal.

James Matthew Robinson was arrested by KSP and brought to the Lincoln County Detention Center at 5:20 pm. The indictment states he will be held on a $100,000 cash bond.
