A grand jury has indicted a Portsmouth man for allegedly taking indecent liberties with a child in his custody.
Court documents say Donald G. Womack Jr. inappropriately touched a 15-year-old in October and November 2015.
“The suspect would buy the victim presents and give him money and food,” according to a criminal complaint filed by the Portsmouth Police Department.

On three occasions, court papers say the victim passed out from drinking alcoholic beverages provided by Womack.
A spokeswoman with the Portsmouth Police Department tells WAVY.com police were dispatched to the 80 block of Kansas Avenue for a disorderly conduct complaint on Nov. 5.
Womack was initially arrested for aggravated sexual battery, but that charge has since been replaced with five new charges due to the Jan. 7 indictment.
Womack now faces two counts of forcible sodomy and one count each of taking indecent liberties with a minor by custodian, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sexual battery.
Court records show Womack, 41, was sentenced to serve eight months of a five-year sentence for taking indecent liberties with a child in 2012.
